Proper waste management is one of the key issues for any community seeking long-term sustainability. Every day we all generate waste, however, very few of us consider its final destination or alternatives to manage waste in a more responsible and conscious way.
In Tadd Chapman Restaraurants we are doing everything in our power to turn our waste into our own raw materials. We recently launched an initiative for all of our restaurants where our organic waste will be going directly to a composting process in our Huerta “Sanchez Organic”. We will be creating our own compost with which we are feeding our soils which in return will be producing high quality organic food.
We have decided to adopt Permaculture as our design method for both the farm and our daily operation within the restaurants. We find it very important to involve all our staff so that they in turn share with clients, their families and friends everything they are learning at work. From now on, all businesses must become more human, more aware and more responsible for the impact we have on the community. For us, Los Cabos is our piece of paradise that we seek to protect through inclusive initiatives that value a free life in abundance and in harmony with nature.
